Residents of an apartment in Trenton avoided serious injuries and three people were charged in a home invasion on Thanksgiving Monday.
Three individuals reportedly entered the residence around 8 p.m. armed with a gun and a knife and one of the residents was assaulted but did not suffer serious injuries.
Numerous items and cash were taken, and the individuals forced the victims to transfer money from their bank accounts to another account.
With help from the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, members of the OPP Emergency Response Team managed to get all three people into custody.
Angela Zimmerman, 36, of Quinte West, Ismael Tumba, 21, of Toronto and Anthony-Joel Kabwika Lumbala, 26, of Oshawa all face a number of charges which can be seen below.
