A local woman is looking to brighten the lives of other women in the County.

Miss Prince Edward County, Hailey MacDonald, is hosting a period product drive with her initiative, Flow Without Fear.

MacDonald will be representing Prince Edward County in the Miss Regional Canada Scholarship Pageant this May.

Flow Without Fear is dedicated to eradicating period poverty in Canada, ensuring everyone has access to period products regardless of their financial situation.

This Valentine’s Day themed period product drive is encouraging the message of self-love, self-care and continuing to provide dignity and comfort to those in need.

All products donated will be given to food banks and women’s organizations in the area.

There are multiple ways to donate, including:

In-person donations at 497 Dundas St W, Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm.
