Driver charged following two-vehicle crash in Marmora

One of the drivers involved in a two-vehicle collision in Marmora on the last day of 2024 has been charged.

Officers with the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the collision on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, shortly after 10:00 a.m.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 7 and Hastings Avenue.

There were no injuries reported but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

A 67-year-old woman from Marmora and Lake was charged with failing to yield to through traffic.
