Belleville Police laid multiple charges after a break and enter on Friday night.

Around 7:30pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the city’s east end. Upon arrival, officers observed a female being removed from a residence. The occupants reported that they had returned home to find the unknown female inside their apartment. After removing her from the unit, they discovered some personal belongings were missing. Someone also pulled the fire alarm.

As a result, Tamara Denstedt, 43-year-old woman of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:

· Break and enter

· Theft under $5000

· False alarm of fire

· Failure to comply with probation order

She was held for a bail hearing.
