Belleville Police is still seeking suspects in a late summer jewelry theft in the city.
Around 2:45 a.m. on August 19, officers responded to a report of break and enter at Time Zone Jewellers and discovered that the front door of the business had been pried open.
Several display cases were smashed, and a safe containing jewelry and cash was missing.
Further investigation determined that a significant quantity of jewelry with a high value had been stolen.
The BPS is asking anyone who may have been in the area of Mineral Road around the time of the incident, or who may have cell phone, dash camera, or surveillance footage, to contact D/Cst. Wentzell at awentzell@bellevilleps.ca.
