MORAN,  Norma Lillian… It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Norma at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in her 99th year.  Loving daughter of the late Richard and Hazel Eggleton.   Beloved wife of the late Cecil Harry, and the late Alan Moran.  Dear mother of Joan Petherick (late Eldon), Raymond Harry (Joan), and Alex Harry. Proud Grandmother of Evan (Marilyn), Craig (Diane), Terry, Eldon Jr. (Heather), James, Thomas, JoAnne, Tina (Dan), John, Cindy, Tammy, Raymond Jr, Bradley, and Great-Grandmother of Adam (Amy), Tyler (Melissa), Wesley (Katherine), Katrina, Kirstie, Connor, Rachel, Jared, Matt, Joey, Amanda, Amy, Richard, Tommy, Natalie, Kandace, Tehra, Christopher, Sabrina, Eric. Great Great-Grandmother of 12. Survived by her brother Bert Eggleton (Adrienne).  Also loved by many nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home, 77 Second St., Campbellford on Monday January 30, 2017 from 12 noon - 2 pm.  A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held in the chapel following the visitation at 2:00 pm.  Rev Mark Fearnall officiating.  Spring inurnment to take place in the spring at Foxboro Cemetery.  

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation, St Elizabeth’s Foundation or St John’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.

Bus Cancellations

Driver shortages continue in Quinte with another round of school bus cancellations on Friday morning.

The first and second-morning runs of School Buses 493 are cancelled.  

The afternoon runs of school bus 493 are cancelled again on Friday.  Tri-board cited driver shortages on Thursday as being the reasoning behind those buses being cancelled.

The morning and afternoon runs of Bus 772 is cancelled due to a driver being ill.

The morning and afternoon runs of Bus 771 is cancelled as a driver was reported absent.

Just a reminder several buses in both the morning and afternoon are cancelled for the rest of the week.

The first run of Bus 444 is 10 minutes late.

The first run of Bus 467 is 20 minutes late.

The second run of Bus 467 is 15 minutes late.

The first run of Bus 688 is 15 minutes late.
