No injuries in boat fire at Murray Canal

No injuries have been reported in a boat fire at the Murray Canal late last night.

Around 11:30 p.m., Quinte West Station 2 firefighters were called to put out the fire in a docked 30 foot pontoon boat at the end of Hutchinson Road.

No one was reportedly near the boat and at least one explosion was reported.

An investigation by Quinte West Fire is underway.
