INGRID’S FAVOURITE THINGS: Some help keeping those resolutions
New Year, New You.
If your New Year's Resolution include eating better, getting fit or living a simpler lifestyle then help is here.
I have combed through some of the best of the best books out there and here are my top picks.
I am no chef and cooking for me has been and always will be a chore.
That's why I adore this cookbook. In a day and age where we comb pinterest for recipes we will pin and never make, this is a book truly worth having.
"Simple: The Easiest Cookbook in the World"
This is really the EASIEST COOKBOOK IN THE WORLD.
Every recipe has less than four steps and fewer than six ingredients all with pictures.
I highly recommend this if you promised 2017 was the year of more cooking.
***If you want to cook, get healthier and lose weight you may want to check out this book.
The Engine Seven-Day Rescue Diet.
Rip Esselstyn talks about eating plants, losing weight and saving your health.
Not sure if it's for you? Rip says give it 7 days and you will see results.
And hey don't we all want to see immediate results?!
***If you vow to eat less and move more, this next book could be just the ticket!
Partner Workouts by Laura Williams gives you exercises you can do anywhere and with a friend.
Maybe enough to motivate you and your partner, friend or co-worker to get active in 2017.
Pictures and instruction on exercises you can do with or without equipment.
***And finally from Gwyneth Paltrow's famous website "Goop" comes "Goop Clean Beauty" by the editors of goop.
It is all about a lifestyle. Lots of sleep, eating clean and making sure the rest of your life is in balance.
It has a little bit of everything from recipes for hummus to skincare to yoga moves to ways to make your hair shine.
Good luck with your resolutions and remember the beauty of it is you can keep starting over until you get it right.
