The National Air Force Museum of Canada Foundation's annual fall semi-formal gala is Oct 21 with the theme Out of this World, Astronaut Portrait Gala.  Guests include renowned Canadian artist Cyril Leeper, known for painting portraits of members of the Royal Family, senior military officers, government officials and business leaders.  The second guest will be Colonel Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian Commander of the International Space Station.  Leeper's portrait of Colonel Chris Hadfield will be presented to the museum at the gala.  Tickets are $150, and can be purchased at the NAFMC, the Chamber of Commerce in Belleville and Trenton as well as Smylie’s your Independent Grocer.  Doors open at 6 p.m. for cocktails, followed by dinner, portrait unveiling, live auction and a dance.  Money raised will support the NAFMC Foundation and the Theatre Campaign.  For more information, email nafmcftickets@gmail.com or call 613-965-7314.  Cool 100, 95.5 Hits FM and InQuinte.ca are sponsors of the event and 95.5 Hits FM Morning Co-Host Ingrid Moore will be the Master of Ceremonies.  To learn more, read the full InQuinte story.
