17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Batawa

The Batawa Lions Club is hosting their 17th annual Easter Egg Hunt April 15 at the Batawa Community Centre, 81 Plant St. from 9 a.m. to noon.  In partnership with the Trenton Military Family Resource Center and thanks to event sponsors, the event features two free Easter Egg Hunts: a junior hunt from ages infant to five-years-old at 10 a.m. and a senior hunt for ages six to 10-years-old at 11:15 a.m.  Families can also enjoy a pancake breakfast $8 for adults, $5 for kids, children under four-years-old are free and the family deal, two adults and up to 3 kids for $25, a petting zoo, pony rides are $3, face painting is $2, balloon animals, cotton candy, a fire truck and police car display.  All monies raised from the breakfast goes towards paying for the rest of the event.  For more information, contact Devon Taylor at the Trenton MFRC: devon.t@trentonmfrc.ca or 613-392-2811 ext. 3598.
